Welcome back old friends!
We mailed over 6000 postcards last month to our older customers, many with whom we had lost contact. We are delighted to say that many responded, saying they had missed us as much as we had missed them. Many of these customers originally purchased the Relm WHS150 or MPV32.
The new radio that directly replaces the WHS150 and MPV32 is the 99 channel, user programmable RPV599 with dual mode capability, paging (both decode and encode), a memory free NiMH battery with twice the capacity of the original WHS150 and a rapid conditioning charger for just $239!
Additional information on the RPV599 is available by clicking on the RPV599 Quick Link. A free evaluation is available. Call us at 1-800-489-2611 for details. You'll see, as the Auburn Alabama Police Department did, that this is one great radio! You can order on line by clicking on the link below.
If you have been looking for a replacement for your old WHS150, or other older radio' the RPV599 would be a great choice for our business, church, and public safety users.

Greetings!
The Golden Fork award for October goes to the Chilton County Volunteer Firefighters Association who fed Michelle and Tracy well at the recent meeting in Clanton. Thanks guys - we appreciate you!
We have added an additional recognition category this month. The Golden Fork award is for those who feed us (and others) best. Now we have the Golden Spoon award that goes to the department or association recognized for individual advancement in providing improved facilities, training, and community involvement. This month, the award goes to the Little Texas Volunteer Fire Department in Macon County, Alabama. Great job guys!

14 days left ( from 11/01/03) to apply for 2003 FEMA grant money!
There is a surplus of over twenty five million dollars available to those who can file a grant application for improved "fire safety" before November 14th. Normally this would involve setting up a tabletop display, giving away smoke detectors, or providing coloring books at the schools. We think we have a better idea!
Working with several of our EMA customers, we have developed a plan known as the Patriot. We think this plan is eligible for approval under the guidelines applicable to release of the aforementioned funds.
We are not going to provide a blank check to our competitors or bore those who have no interest in free money. However, if you are involved in firefighting activities and you would like to do something really good for your community, we invite your inquiry for more information.
You don't have much time! If you want to participate, call Burch Falkner at 1-800-489-2611 or send us an email by clicking on the link below. You'll be glad you did!

An introduction to The Alliance!
Communications systems used by public safety agencies, schools, and utilities have heretofore been planned and operated primarily as separate entities. The idea of including the business community as a part of a long term strategy has not been common practice. That is about to change!
Common needs and interdependence between the governmental and private sector dictates a coordinated view toward planning - not only for basic 2-way radio, but also for wireless mobile data, and broadband Internet access with secondary benefits in security monitoring and low cost VoIP telephone and fax. service.
At recent emergency preparedness drills conducted throughout the USA, the number one problem reported was INADEQUATE COMMUNICATIONS in mass casualty situations. Business users complaint of poor response times by first responders dealing with burglaries and private citizens are concerned with the time required for response to EMS calls.
Clearly, there has to be a better way. We think we have it! Falcon Wireless has developed a plan to address these common needs with a thought toward pooling resources for the overall benefit of all concerned. Our plan is available in overview form by visiting a special web site listed below. Check it out, then give us a call at 1-800-489-2611 for additional information!

Odds and ends
What do the Hanover Fire Department, the Pine Lake Baptist Church, and Shook & Fletcher Insulation have in common? Answer - They all use our new Liberty Repeater to provide coverage in areas where they never could communicate before. Got a problem communicating between handheld radios? Give us a call at 1-800-489-2611 or visit our business web site at www.falcon4business.com for more information!
If you are a public safety user and considering the purchase of CAD, records, citation, or mobile data software, you need to know there is a better alternative. Instead of spending big bucks for custom programs, paying up the nose for "maintenance", and facing the risk of obsolesce or incompatibility, consider a new alternative. It's called fee-based usage. You pay only for what you want, when you need it, on a MONTHLY basis with no long-term contract commitment. Here's an example - N.C.I.C. access for $50 per month! Email us - sales@falconwireless.net for more information!
If you are a police officer and you are challenged for proof of speeding, what do you do? If you have our affordable SilentPartner system, you simply print a time and location report for the time in question. This report will show what you were doing before pursuit, speeds applicable to the pursuit, and the stop time. Case closed! Want more information? Call Burch Falkner at 205.422.2011.
High speed Internet for everyone! Our hometown of Center Point, Alabama will soon be served by affordable WIRELESS high speed Internet service. If you are in the Birmingham, Alabama metro area, give us a call at 205.854.2611. We may be planning service soon in YOUR community!
