Falcon Wireless Newsletter . Wireless news for you!
December 2003
.
. . . . . . . . .
Greetings!

Our last newsletter for 2003 is being sent to our Business, Church, and Governmental users with products and services that we hope will be of interest to all. In previous months, we began publishing our Golden Fork award given to the public safety agency providing the best food and hospitality during our visit. It's now called the Hospitality Award and it goes to the Escambia County Alabama E-911 who served some great beef stew, award winning cornbread and hospitality to match. Thanks guys! We also like to recognize volunteer fire departments who make an extra effort to serve their community. This month, the award goes to the McCollom Alabama VFD. Great work guys!

We also have a professionalism award given to those who perform their tasks above and beyond the average. This month, the award goes to Clint Rogers, purchasing director of the Sheraton Hotel in Birmingham. Even though we lost the bid (yes, we sometimes lose), we came away feeling like a winner. Thanks Clint! We appreciate people like you!

New Wireless Call Notification Systems
.
Our new wireless call notification systems can be used by all of those we serve. Unauthorized entry into churches and schools can be detected by inexpensive sensors that activate our Quick Talk NotiFiers. These amazing devices can send a voice alert message directly to security personnel equipped with 2-way radio.

Another device, known as Quick Assist allows the public to push a button for assistance. When activated, the Quick Assist can send a voice message directly to a 2- way radio. A variation of this device can be used in retail establishments that are at high burglary risk.

Information on these products as well as the new Motorola PR400 and PN400 radios is available with specific applications for golf, municipal, and plant users by clicking on the appropriate Quick Link below.

Complete information on all of our wireless notification products is available by clicking on the link below.

Special news for church and institutional users
.
Readers of this newsletter will be the first to know of a special offer that will be released to church, institutional, and business users in January. As you may know, Motorola has returned to the digital paging business with the introduction of the Advisor II text message pager and the LS355 numeric message pager.

As you may know, we manufacture our own paging terminals as well as specialized pagers used by several US Government agencies. Unfortunately, the features and performance required by government users makes them a little pricey for commercial users. As a result we have relied on pacific rim suppliers for our commercial applications.

We are delighted to offer the Motorola pagers for our customers. They are a little more expensive than the oriental competition, but we think you will agree that they are worth the difference. To make the Motorola pagers an even better value, we are making a very special offer.

For a limited time, we are giving a FREE paging terminal with an order of 25 or more LS355 numeric pagers at $99 each or 25 or more Advisor II pagers at $149 each. And, the deal gets better - you have a CHOICE of our standard desktop terminal or the full featured telephone direct dial access model. Click on the link below for more product information.

New Watchdog service!
.
Last month, we introduced a new concept to public safety communications - that of finding grant money, developing a product and service to fill the need, then providing a complete package to our public safety customers including a standardized narrative and suggestions for finding matching share funds.

The system, known as Patriot, was developed to meet F.E.M.A. grant requirements for a system that improved fire safety to the young and old. We are delighted to announce than agencies all over the USA took us up on our offer with applications submitted equaling over a fifth of the available F.E.M.A. funds.

As an outgrowth of this effort, we have been brought into association with some highly qualified individuals who have volunteered their time and talent to take this service to the next level. We recognized the overwhelming need to assist smaller counties and municipalities who did not have the grant writing capabilities of larger entities. As a result, a new program, known as Watchdog, was developed.

Space does not permit us to tell you all the details about Watchdog in this Newsletter. However, we have prepared complete information in Adobe PDF format that can be viewed on line by clicking on the link below. If you are not getting your share of available grant money, we urge you to click on the link below.

New Silent Partner Commercial Program
New appointments at Falcon Wireless include Bill Herschede who assumes management responsibility for sales of the Silent Partner GPS vehicle tracking system for both commercial and governmental uses. Bill is also involved in the new Watchdog grant review and assistance program. Welcome aboard Bill!

Silent Partner, originally developed to meet the needs of law enforcement users is equally beneficial in serving the needs of other governmental users as well as a variety of commercial applications. Bill will be looking at the possibilities of obtaining federal grant money to fund Silent Partner. We'll be glad to tell you more!

Commercial users will be pleased to know that the Silent Partner systems with as many as twenty mobile units and the fixed station equipment qualify for a 100% single year tax write off. If you want to reduce taxes for 2003 and improve efficiency for 2004, call us at 1-800-489-2611, TODAY!
